"The Rooms"

Today we visited "the Rooms" which is the NL's provincial museum. The museum's name is a reference to the steep roofed buildings on the shore of fishing villages where families came together to process their catch.

While The Rooms has an art gallery and an archive section, we spent most of our time in the regular museum section learning about the land and people that settled it.

From the upper floors of the Rooms, one gets a great view of St. John's harbor.
